The web server machine rebooted and as usual I had to move the fucking mysql socket from /var/run/mysql to /var/www/var/run/mysql to make it work since our mysql port is by default not capable of being used from apache (WTF?). Through the lack of coffee and high level of annoyance with our mysql port I removed /var/mysql instead of /var/run/mysql. I'm sure it was a freudian typo. I don't do backups. Game over. Deleting spam was getting annoying anyway.
